TMZ has the speculative story: TMZ spotted Avril Lavigne and hubby rocker Deryck Whibley shopping up a storm on Robertson Blvd. yesterday ... but could it be for a wee Whiblet or Whiblette?

Consider the evidence: The couple dropped around $500 at Lisa Kline Kids, purchasing everything from a cheetah diaper bag to baby AC/DC tees, and, of course, a camo pacifier holder. Sounds a lot like she's preparing for life to get more complicated.

Pop punk Avril Lavigne was showered with culinary gifts when she celebrated her 26th birthday last week (Sept 27) - so the budding chef could build on her cookery skills.

The Complicated singer admits she's always been a whizz in the kitchen and all she wanted for her big day was cool stuff to cook with.

She tells People.com, "I've always been obsessed with cooking. I can make anything.

"I got some spatulas with skulls on them and some fun stuff for my kitchen. I swear to God, my family asked me what I wanted and I said I wanted a serving bowl and all these things for my kitchen. I asked for a stone plate to put in my oven to cook and crazy stuff like that." Lavigne reveals her "speciality" is English favourite Yorkshire pudding, but she adds, "I make really good bruschetta, too."
